Counselor Laura Ortiz

Laura Ortiz is a devoted counselor with over a decade of experience supporting student growth & mental wellness since 2014. Her passion lies in helping students navigate their first social-emotional milestones, build resilience, and develop a lifelong love for learning. Throughout her career, she has successfully implemented school-wide counseling programs that foster inclusive and supportive learning environments.She received a Masters in Education from Texas A&M-Commerce and thrives on collaborating with the community, staff and students to ensure every student succeeds. Outside of the office, she enjoys being a Tia/Aunt, her dogs and picnics at the lake.
